ZiMA stands for zinc magnesium aspartate and not, as many think, for zinc magnesium and vitamin B6. I must admit I also asked myself years ago why B6 is abbreviated with A. Years later it became clear to me... and that's why I can now talk smart here
There are several Z.M.A products on the market, since the active ingredient formula is not patented, any manufacturer in the world can use the original formula
- Zinc Aspartate (30 mg)
- Magnesium aspartate (450 mg),
- Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride (10.5 mg))
or adapt it in its favor. However, the situation is different with the registered brand name Z.M.A (without the dots). You are only allowed to use it if you pay money to the licensor. Of course, we have saved that, so our product is called ZiMA.
Since the maximum allowed amount of zinc is regulated in the EU, we have adapted the formula. Our ZiMA consists of
- 20 mg elemental zinc from zinc aspartate
- 300 mg magnesium elemental from magnesium aspartate
- 7mg Vitamin B6 from Pyridoxine HCl
Each in 2 capsules. If one would take now 3 instead of the 2 capsules one would come on
- 30mg zinc
- 450mg magnesium
- 10,5mg B6
Which would correspond to the original formula, but is not "approved" in Europe. Since we "only" want to and are allowed to recommend the 2 capsules to you, we thought we would simply pack 90 capsules in the package instead of the 60 capsules (90/3 = 30 days). So if you would dose according to the original and established formula, one can would last a whole 30 days!
We also rely on absolute quality raw materials for our ZiMA, sourced through our fully certified purchasing department
Vegan? Of course. More and more of our customers are following a vegan diet. Like almost all products of the #sinobPHARMA-Line, our Zinc Magnesium product has been produced with vegan, colorless capsules and without the use of magnesium stearate, etc
